Chef Vone Xayavong

Chef Vone has worked in the restaurant industry for 11 years. He worked at a French restaurant, La Provence, in Vienna, VA. for 9 years as the head Chef and became the owner. He sold La Provence in 2006 and traveled a lot between his home country of Thailand and the US. During a visit to Greenville, SC in 2008 to see Kayla (Pam) at her restaurant, Thai @ Greenville, Vone noticed the lack of French restaurants in the area. Vone has since joined Pam as a business partner of Thai Sky.
Chef Vone likes to serve the best meats and fish avaiable to a region, and being new to Greenville, he'll start out with his specialties before introducing other French recipes based on ingredients from the local markets.
A couple of Chef Vone's specialties:
- Roasted Salmon on a bed of Sautéed Fresh Spinach and Saffron Sauce
- Filet Mignon with Red Wine Cabernet Sauvignon Mushroom Sauce
Chef Vone enjoys making desserts from scratch. Among his favorites are Cheesecake, Chocolate Cake Fondant, Crème Brûlée, and Parfait au Noir.
